The Baa-ble hat is here!

I am very pleased to announce that the pattern for the Baa-ble hat, the hat I designed for Shetland Wool Week, is now available to download!  If you go to www.shetlandwoolweek.com/freepattern you will be able to download it.



I have really enjoyed seeing your projects so far and am really looking forward to seeing your finished hats!  Even if you are not attending wool week this year, you can join us in spirit by making the hat, and if you are coming to Wool Week it will be fantastic to see baa-ble hats in the flesh so to speak! 

If you post your hat on Instagram or Twitter, please can you use #baable so we can see it!

    Hello Donna. I really love this pattern and was very happy to find the free download. Thank you! (I'm planning to make it in Lett-Lopi, left over from a couple of other knits, though I'd love to try it in J&S too!) I'll put it on Ravelry when I've made it. Fiona

    I have tried filling out the form to receive the free download, but the promised e-mail has never come...:( Would really love to have this pattern...

      Sorry for the delay in replying - I have just seen your comment. That's a shame the email has never come (it usually comes straight away). I suggest (if you haven't already done so) that you contact the Shetland Wool Week team directly - you should find a link on their website. They should be able to email it to you directly. If you haven't already checked your junk folder have a look in there first just in case it has gone in there. If you still have no luck, let me know

    I already have wool and I'm ready to knit this incredible hat! However, the pattern won't download for me when I try to open it. Is there a way I can get it without downloading it from the Shetland Wool site?

      Hello! Sorry to hear this (and sorry for my delay in getting back to you). I know that there were problems on the site last week but it should all be fixed now. If you still can't open the pattern contact the Shetland Wool Week team directly through their website.
